Armoured City

Those who walk through São Paulo streets going to work, often uncomplaining and anaesthetized, daydreaming about the apparent happiness at buying a new-classic apartment with a gastronomic balcony, do not realize how oppressed they are by the surrounding environment of a poorly maintained city, by the anti-architecture that destroys beautiful things. A place where what is public is degraded and nature has no chance at all.
Segregated by the money, prisoners behind the protection bars, feeding the fear, everybody is suspicious until proven otherwise.
Armoured from human contact, intolerance is the only one to thrive; in a city that has no horizon, individuals only care more and more at themselves.
