Stella McCartney have commissioned this short film for the Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The film tells the true story of Stephanie, a breast cancer survivor. It’s a film about normalizing, after recovering from the treatment and seeing life from a different perspective.
New gallery uploaded with pictures made during a trip to Lapland, Finland, in the chase for the Northern Lights. It was kinda frustrating because I could just barely see the lights due to the cloudy weather, but all that untouched white nature, the silence, the adventure on being in such a extreme environment and all the fun I had made the Aurora just a detail. Two of my personal work I have developed last year are now online in the PERSONAL section in the site.
The first is “Armored City”, about my nihilistic relationship with São Paulo, the city where I was born and lived most of my life. A relationship of love and hate on seeing the place that you’d like to be better cared for, becoming a place increasingly segregated and intimidated by the fear of violence, where individualism grows and hopes are lost, despite the good will of many. LCD Soundsystem singing “NY I love you, but you’re bringing me down” and Criolo singing “Não existe amor em SP” (there ain’t no love in SP) could be the background songs for this gallery.
The second work, “re Natura”, is part of an observation of the perennial power of nature overcoming the arrogant human destruction in a clash where nature seems to be at a disadvantage, but for sure will be the one suposed to win.
